This place was amazing! Must go-to in Santa Fe. Best food ever. Get the pork sliders and blue corn burritos. Don't go to the tourist stops, come here, wait in line - THIS IS THE ONE! The ambiance is very homey, good vibes. Just like any other amazing New Mexican restaurant. Trust us please. You will not have better food anywhere in this state.

Definitely the place that serves the best cocktails. The food is good and fairly priced. Service and ambiance were good and aligned with the Santa Fe culture. The real issue is getting in. Getting a reservation days ahead for the specific day and time is the best possible way to eat at the Shed. If you decide you want to eat there the day of, you are still in luck, but at the mercy of the queue. The restaurant opens at 5pm for dinner, folks begin to line up around 4,for an assigned seating time. The earlier you are in line the earlier you will eat. Get in line at 5 will probably mean a 7-7:30 dinning time. It's tricky?

This place was recommended to us and since we are celebrating our 45th anniversary I checked out their menu and we decided to have dinner in the patio! Our server was Joe and I was watching him take care of 7 tables and he was a pro! Anything the customers wanted he was able to make them happy with their requests! Ok this place did not disappoint the food was excellent! The only thing I couldn't handle was the green chili! The red was perfect and the green was to hot! Now the desert I should have ordered this first, so good and rich!

Really cool place near the plaza. Great atmosphere, good food! Had the taco and enchilada plate, delicious sauces. Service was excellent, waiter was very quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

Great food at affordable prices. You have got to try the Red Chile Hot Fudge Sundae. Cannot explain the decadence of it, especially when paired either with a cab from Paso Robles. Ate at the bar and had the pleasure of Maria helping us. Not only did she deliver amazing service; she busted her butt cleaning, stocking and serving the entire time. What a hard worker!

Apparently an institution in this town. Food did not disappoint. I had cheese enchiladas with Christmas sauce. Personally, I thought the red chili was way better than the green. You can ask for sour cream which I did not know. The sauces are spicy. We also tried the guacamole and the house salad. Both were fresh and yummy. House made garlic bread helps cut the heat on the dishes. We ended with the mocha cake which was perfect. House margarita was tasty. Tamales were also good. Cute place with a warren of rooms and such. Noise level is not out of hand thanks to noise control panels. Waiter, Gabriel, was great. You wait 90 minutes and it is over in less than an hour. Their reservation system, if you can call it that, leaves a lot to be desired. Get here at 4 and put your name on the List. Front of house could be more efficient. But a good time was had by all.

First of all, please get a reservation! The first day I tried coming here I showed up 5 minutes after it opened and there was already a 2.5 hour wait. So I scheduled a reservation for another day, even though it was just me going. The atmosphere and service of The Shed was spectacular. The Shed has all these little doorways and different little rooms. It was fun to be in there. I got the Dos appetizer (chips, queso, and traditional salsa). It was great. Then I ordered the enchilada and taco plate with christmas sauce smothered. It was really good. It has a nice heat to it but I didn't find it overwhelming.

Very eclectic restaurant with lots of history and good food! I love the decor! The fireplace when you walk in is a nice cozy place to sit and wait for your party to arrive. They will not seat you until all your guests are there. The flavors of the food are wonderful!

It was my first time visiting New Mexico, and I happened to be staying in historic downtown Santa Fe for a conference. During a lunch break, I was interested in finding a restaurant that served food fitting to New Mexico. The Spot happened to capture that and be within walking distance, so off I went! I was starving by the time I arrived, so I wanted to get an appetizer from the start. There were various dip options ranging from different salsas, queso, and guacamole. One nifty dip order was the Dos, allowing me to choose any of the 2 dips. I opted for the queso & guacamole, and it was served fresh with housemade yellow & blue corn tortilla chips. The chips were nice and warm, and both dips were flavorful and delicious. It would have been great to share the Dos with someone, but alas I was by myself and I wasn't too hungry for a full entree. So I opted to get two stews - traditional pozole & green chile stew. I now understand why New Mexico is the chile capital! The green chile stew had the right amount of spice but the flavor of the green chile really enhanced the stew. The pozole had a nice chew and really helped to mellow out the green chile between bites. Both stews weren't too salty, which is what worries me the most about stews. Absolute great introduction to the chile capital!

It has been a while since we have been back to Santa Fe and we didn't waste any time going to the Shed! We were there on a weekday afternoon before they closed, around 130. There was no wait to be seated and we were greeted by our waitress immediately. She answered some questions we had about the menu and was extremely friendly. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding! In past visits, we seem to hit it on a weekend for dinner and it is usually a wait, so we were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back again next time we are in town.
